Favorite Feature
Many cars now feature forward collision warning. Nissan’s advanced Predictive Forward Collision Warning goes one step further. Not only does it see the car in front of you but it monitors the car ahead of that car as well. If the system detects a sudden stop, you will receive a visual and audible warning. This improved driver assistance system gives you a chance to stop even though you can’t see the car’s brake lights.2017-nissan-altima-guagesComfortable Interior
The 2017 Nissan Altima has an accommodating cabin. The spacious interior has seating for five with zero-gravity seats inspired by NASA. The Altima’s seats are some of the most comfortable, supportive seats in the mid-size sedan category, available in a budget friendly cloth or luxurious leather. The redesigned center stack with user-friendly controls lends a modern design and a premium look and feel. The available dual-zone climate control lets everyone control their own temperature for optimal comfort. Tech lovers will love the available technology package. This sophisticated package includes a NissanConnect 7-inch touchscreen system with navigation, mobile apps and services, voice recognition for navigation and audio, intelligent cruise control and our favorite feature Predictive Forward Collision Warning.2017-nissan-altima-interiorSharp Exterior
The refined exterior takes a cue from Nissan’s other sleek looking vehicles. The 2017 Altima front end features the classic V-shaped grille with active grille shutters that is stylish as well as aerodynamically functional. The back end features a prominent bumper, edgy taillights that wrap into the trunk lid, and dual chrome exhaust finishers. The SR model gets 18-inch alloy wheels, daytime running lights, foglights and a rear spoiler for a sportier look and feel. Premium features such as LED headlights and taillights, front and rear parking sensors, power sunroof, and heated outside mirrors are just a few of the available upgrades.

Under the Hood
The 2017 Nissan Altima has two engine options. 2.5 models get a fuel efficient 2.5 liters, 4-cylinder engine that produces 179 horsepower. In combination with active grille shutters and revised engine compression, the 4-cylinder engine has an impressive EPA of 27 mpg city and 39 highway. The 3.5 liter, V6 engine which is standard in the 3.5 models, generates 270 horsepower. Both engines are paired with a CVT automatic transmission.
