The 2013 Acura MDX
Way Ahead of the Competition!

2013 Acura MDX

With its sophisticated all-wheel-drive system, user-friendly technology, and an MSRP starting at about 5% lower than the closest competitor, we’re sure that you’ll agree:   2013 Acura MDX is the best luxury SUV on the market today!

We want to offer our customers more affordable options, especially in this economy, while still providing the sophistication and amenities they crave – and the 2013 Acura MDX accomplishes that and much more!  When comparing the 2013 MDX to two of its leading competitors, we found that the lower pricing is not the only terrific thing customers get with the MDX.  Edmunds.com chose the Acura MDX as one of the best SUVs in its class, and explains:

“…the Acura MDX represents a refined and forward-thinking choice, a solid blue-chip among flashy hedge funds. Along with striking design, the MDX is a technology-lover’s dream, and its surround-sound audio and navigation systems are among the best. Lest you think the MDX is some listless techno-carriage, its V6 makes 300 hp, equal with the base [Porsche] Cayenne V6. And its all-wheel-drive system, paired with good steering and a suspension that limits body roll, make the MDX a confident carver as well.”

Edmunds goes on to say that the MDX’s finely crafted interior and relatively roomy third-row seat are definite incentives for buying this vehicle!  They point out that while other luxury SUVs, such as the Lexus RX350 and the BMW X5, offer slightly more premium environments, they are in smaller, more expensive packages than the MDX, and the Lexus lacks the third-row seat.  Edmunds continues, “Certainly, all have distinct benefits, but when it comes to a deft blend of luxury, technology and drivability, the MDX is peerless.”

Comfort and Convenience

When compared to the 2013 Infiniti JX AWD and the 2013 Lexus RX350, the 2013 Acura MDX undeniably stands out in the areas of comfort and convenience.

Acura MDX vs. Lexus RX350:

Rear Seat Heating/Air Conditioning controls, Power Moonroof,  Memory Steering Column, Extended Service Interval, Leather Trimmed Seats, Front Memory Seat, Heated Front Seats, Third Row Seat, and High Intensity Discharge Headlights are just some of the amenities provided as standard in the 2013 Acura MDX that are optional or not available in the 2013 Lexus RX350.

Acura MDX vs. Infiniti JX AWD:

Provided standard in the 2013 Acura MDX are Universal Remote Control, Memory Steering Column, Front Adjustable Power Lumbar Support, Front Memory Seat, Compact Disc Changer, and Auto-Dimming Interior Mirror.  These features are optional or unavailable in the 2013 Infiniti JX AWD.

Performance and Engineering

While the 2013 Acura MDX has a 6-cylinder engine similar to the Infiniti and Lexus models, it has higher horsepower (300) and Torque (270), which make it “pull with enthusiasm,…while [its] six-speed automatic transmission upshifts smoothly.  Overall, the MDX is one of the most rewarding luxury crossovers to drive,” according to Edmunds.com.  Those features, coupled with standard Hill Start Assist and a lower turning diameter (37.6 vs. >38), make the 2013 Acura MDX an excellent choice for you!

Safety Features

Our customers’ safety is our main concern!  We want you to purchase the safest vehicle possible, and the 2013 Acura MDX provides all safety features as standard.  Its unique Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ Body Structure, or ACE™, enhances occupant protection and crash compatibility in a frontal impact.   ACE™ helps to distribute crash energy and reduce the force of impact in the occupant cabin.  This means that it actually helps the two vehicles involved in a crash to equalize the crash energy with the goal of minimizing the impact on both vehicles’ occupants.  We are proud that this great feature was developed by Acura, and that it can be a lifesaver for our customers!

Interior/Exterior Dimensions and Capacities

The exterior dimensions of the 2013 Acura MDX are far ahead of the Lexus model.  On the interior, the MDX takes the lead with much more passenger volume room, head room, leg room and shoulder room.  It also leads the pack with a 5,000 lb. tow capacity, as compared to 3,500 lb. tow capacities for the Lexus and the Infiniti.

What’s the word on the street about the Acura MDX?

Automobile Magazine wrote the following about the 2012 model:

“The MDX delivers phenomenal handling by way of its sophisticated all-wheel-drive system and high-tech dampers. The driving experience also benefits from a seating position that is much lower than in the BMW X5, giving the driver more confidence in the MDX’s cornering ability.”

“It’s easy to see why the MDX has become one of Acura’s most popular vehicles: It’s sized just right for most families (how often does the average family put full-grown adults in the third row?), offers a good amount of utility, and is sporty and luxurious enough to satisfy the discriminating buyer.”

“…if you are looking for an athletic luxury sport-ute with the added benefit of sterling reliability and excellent resale value, it’s likely the best all-around choice in its segment”

Prospective buyers say:

After a test drive, “I want this car!” “handles like a car, not an SUV,” “smooth drive – good for families, lots of room for kids and pets!”

Current owners of an Acura MDX say:

“Love the navigation, sound system and voice control over almost everything. The ability to memorize seating, mirrors, steering wheel and other settings for two drivers makes it makes it easy to share the MDX with another driver. And the seats are comfortable enough to keep my legs from cramping on long trips!”

“Looked at all models from Mercedes (GL), Lexus (GX), Toyota, Land Rover. Our needs were to fit full size cello in the back, 3 kids, 7 sitting capability occasionally for a car pool. Drivability and passenger comfort with technology to protect them. Acura MDX won at the end with the Advance and Entertainment features and space.”

“The good power and acceleration was a nice surprise. Love the weather radar. Very helpful in our unpredictable Midwest climate. The ride is very quiet. Solid, quality interior materials.”
